Prenatal diagnosis
Prenatal diagnosis is a tool enabling the detection of abnormalities in the structure and development of the foetus. Its importance lies in the fact that in some cases even today effective intrauterine treatment is possible, childbirth can be planned in a centre where the baby will receive appropriate help after birth, and it's also possible to plan that further treatment.
